EDUCATION CENTER
We are located in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, and provide paddlesports education around the globe. Many of our services are internationally recognized, official American Canoe Association (ACA) courses that can be offered in over 35 countries, and focus on rafting, kayaking, river safety & rescue, and swiftwater rescue.
We are here to help you achieve your paddlesports goals. Our courses provide participants of all ages and skill level with the opportunity to receive education to help them enjoy the amazing benefits that our waterways have to offer.
Additional Services
Hydrology: We have created a unique, one of a kind interactive course with two and three dimensional props. This presentation offers an in-depth look at how water flows and creates river features.
Children’s Camp: Our children’s day camp combines fun with learning. We offer several scheduled events each year, however, your group can create their own customized event, including specific content, length of course, and location.
Mentorship: Our mentorship program is with Appalachian Guidance founder, Jeff Cogle, who has over 36 years of experience teaching kayaking and rafting. This program offers a personalized approach to accomplishing your individual goals.
